Now, on to our featured entertainment:

The Magnolia Stamp Lover's Blog challenge is to use a punch. I originally started with a circle punch and then I thought, "I can do better than that". So, I pulled out my McGill punches and proceeded to make a flower. These are pretty simple to make, I had this one done in about 10 minutes. Actually, it's the second one, the largest petals made a flower too big for this card, so I moved to the second largest set. In doing that, I forgot a step I used in the first flower; I edged the petals with a gold stamp pad. I didn't do that on the second flower, but I still have the first one to use on a later project. Don't you love the new Tim Holtz edge dies? This one cuts two different edges, I love this one. You could use it to make a Matchbook card and use the pointed end to fasten the card.

This is a closer view of Tilda. I do so love the new 0000 copics. They're so soft. I covered the star with Spica Gold and the top of Tilda's dress with Spica Clear.
The flower center was covered with Versamark and then embossed with gold embossing powder. This added a little zing to the center of the flower. The tag in the back was cut from white cardstock printed with part of "Twas the Night Before Christmas" and inked on the edges.

Paper: DCWV The Paper Stack, Beckett Radiance; Stamps: Studio G, Magnolia Star Tilda; Punches: McGill Star Lily, Crystal, Birch Leaf, Starburst; Spica: Gold, Tim Holtz Sizzix Die Ornate; Clear; Copics: [Skin E00, E01, R20][Hair YR23, Y21, YR31][Star: E55, Y28][Clothes R0000, R000, R00]
