Double Challenge

I've been having a lot of fun with crochet these days.  I found this wonderful Copper Mist crochet thread that matches this background paper wonderfully.  I've crocheted on a Spellbinder's Eyelet Circle.  I'm hoping the flowers are zinnias which always bloom here in July and August which are Central Illinois Dog Days (Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central "Dog Days of Summer" challenge).  Temperatures are often in the 90s here with high humidity.  Pots must be watered twice a day or kept in the shade.  Air is often hard to walk through, it feels thick and moist.  And since my background paper has flowers and I have two flowers on my card so it qualifies for the Magnolia Stamp Lovers Flowers Challenge.  So, you have a choice - flowers or 'dog days'.  Note:  in order to qualify for the SSCC challenge prize, you must mention a product that can be purchased at StampingScrapping.com.

  4. Cindy, I just love the crocheting around the nestie! It would tie in a crocheted flower center too. I'm a Make it crafty facebook group'er but haven't posted any coloring because my computer is dead and I'm stuck on my phone for another couple of weeks but mostly because I'm struggling with depression from my chronic pain and have difficulty even coloring from fear of inadequacy - the joy of the big D is it's illogicality. But I'm getting better little steps. I've set up a blog but I need coloring and cards to post. But I wanted to say pls keep up with sentiments etc.they're so helpful for those of us without much money. xx
