Kitchen Update: We met with the cabinet refacers last night and have decided to have our old cabinets refaced. The company will add the material of our choice on all parts of the cabinets that show along with new doors and hardware. They will also build the new cabinets that we picked out at a local home improvement store. The difference in price was negligible and all the cabinets will match when we're done. The refacing and installation will take place April 11, 12, and 13. Three days and we're done. They will also remove our old countertop and draw a template for the new one which will take ten days or so. By the end of April the cabinets, countertop, undermount sink and new faucet will be installed. Then, it's off to find our track lighting and flooring. Our contractor will be over on April 6th to move an electrical plug, add a new plug over where our new countertop will run, to move our telephone and to remove our trash masher. Before that date we'll have to move our bar cabinet and my spice cabinet. We're replacing the trash masher with two pull out spice racks. I can't wait to get those. We're off tomorrow to pick out our countertop, sink and faucet, we're looking at granite. We're lucky that our kitchen is so small we can upgrade our materials and still not spend a lot of money. More later....

Magnolia Stamp Lover's Pastel Challenge
Isn't this little girl sweet? All dressed up and waiting for the party. The new Belles 'n Whistles accessories are just the right size for the Magnolia stamps. I tried the dot technique around the images, not sure I like it or I did it right, but practice makes perfect so I'll keep at it. The corner was from an old Sizzlets die I had, I have no idea what the name of it is. You have lots of time to join this challenge, so head over to the Magnolia Stamp Lover's Blog and get your entry in.
